Did some one try the profilmaker with a Mendel/Wades Extruder?
What do you put into the gear diameter field? it seems to me that the fact that wades extruder uses 2 gears to drive the hobbed bolt instead of an direct drive should be handled differentyl, shouldn’t it?
Regards
Sven
@Sven: I honestly don’t know if anyone has tried ProfileMaker with a Mendel or Wade’s extruder. You make an excellent point about the gear’s diameter in this case. I think if I were you I’d try the gear diameter of the actual hobbed bolt.
@Sven: And then you’ll want to take into account the gearing ratio as to how it affects the flowrate speed… I think.
