Yay!!! I’ve got the DVR set – and I’m watching with rapt attention. Now that Masterpiece Theater is doing an intro, I can afford a few moments to blog/tweet. But, that’s it until it ends. See you after.

Doctor Who Season 6 on Netflix Streaming!!!
Yay!!!
Now, I’ve already seen Doctor Who Season 6. I liked it, but, on the whole, not as much as Season 5. Why am I so excited then?
Because now I can delete these episodes off our DVR and watch them, unedited, without commercials just as god intended.
Seriously, BBC?!
Okay, I get that you want to show Sherlock in the UK before it airs in the US, but really? Those in England got to see it on 1/1/2012 and those in the States have to wait until 5/6/2012 on PBS. My DVR doesn’t go out that far.
It’s been nearly one and a half years since the first season – which is plenty of time to work out any of the licensing issues required for a simultaneous airing wherever. Delaying or staggering releases only encourages piracy.
I’m tempted to find a way to purchase the Euro-centric region DVD when it is released and then find a way to play it. Meh.
Oooh, that’s why!
I mentioned that the BBC show “Sherlock” was like Doctor Who without all the wibbly wobbly timey wimey bits.
It’s co-produced by Steven Moffat, the current writer for Doctor Who.
When watching this show, I could easily see either David Tennat or Matt Smith taking up this role.
You know, if Sherlock was to sudden become mortally wounded and then be regenerated or something.
Note to self
In continuing with my Doctor Who fanboy prints, I’d like to create a Time Lord Seal coin. Coins are cool. The BBC put up the design file associated with the Time Lord Seal from The End of Time.
