A little while ago I posted my plastic wishlist. Glow in the dark plastic was the only thing on that list.
Well, Vik Oliver managed to score some glow in the dark PLA. Apparently it’s pretty expensive – but I don’t know how to convert 100m of 3mm plastic at NZ$60 to something I would understand. 1
- I’m guessing it would probably take a slide rule, a Commodore 64, and a very patient person speaking very loudly and slowly to put this all into terms I would understand. [↩]
Going by nophead’s latest post, 5KG of filament is about 800m long so if you do the math, 100m works out to about 625g or about 1.3 Ibs. So for 1Ib of filament that would be about NZ$43.58 or in other currencies: £20.54 GBP, $31.63 USD, $35.35 AUD.
@Rob: Brilliant! Thank you!!!
