After bursting out laughing, I then had to explain to everyone around me just why it was so funny.

    @The Ruttmeister: First – to anyone reading… This is a spoiler alert for the 6th season of Doctor Who.

    The comic was a reference to the recent 6th season of Doctor Who featuring a new villain called The Silence/The Silents. At one point they are fiddling around in the White House. When you’re not looking at one of these aliens, you can’t remember them. So, people who are fighting them place a mark on their bodies to indicate how many Silents they’ve seen. When they look away from the aliens, they see the marks on their arms, hands, etc and know they need to get out of the area. The joke loses a lot when explained out like this, I suppose…
