Kaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhn!

Now, picture me yelling the words, “Google Groups” like that.

Just what the holy hell do I need to do to be able to view Google Groups?  I can’t view them when I’m logged in.  I can’t view them when I’m logged out.  I can’t view it with ANY of my Google accounts.  WHY would you do this???  Google, whose entire business model is built on convenience has decided to essentially create a wall around Google Groups.

I’m seriously serious – do you know?  What do I have to do?  Sign up for another account???

  1. We can’t help you if you don’t describe your problem better. What error are you seeing? Have you tried clearing your browser cookies or cache? Have you tried a different browser or a different computer?

Let me know if you need more ideas.

  2. @Cyrozap: Fair enough. :) I should have heeded my own advice .

Oh jeez… I may have just solved this problem. Thank you, Cyrozap, for being the cooler head. I had tried to reach Google Groups while logged into a Google account, got a message:”This service is not available

Google Groups is not available for makerbot.com. Learn more about Google products you can use with makerblock@makerbot.com.

Did you use this product with a different Google Account? Sign out of your current Google Account and then sign in to the account you want. ”
So, I naturally copied and posted the link for that page into a new browser. Only, it didn’t work. The reason was I wasn’t copying/pasting the link to the page I wanted – but the error page! D’oh!

  3. Well, congrats on solving your problem! I know I’ve done that on more than one occasion with some other websites. At least now I remember to check to make sure I’m using the right URL after visiting an error page!
